With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Virginia Simpson (Minor Hill, Tennessee), born in Webster Springs, West Virginia, who passed away on September 21, 2018 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Opha Losh and Edith Losh; her husband Willis Simpson; and her son Freddy Mankins. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Marcia Mankins; her grandchildren, Josh Mankins (Cassie) and Erin Mankins; her great grandchild Adleigh Mankins; her siblings, Grace Neeley, Vada Cool, Lucy Riker, Ruth Carpenter (Ardings), Carol Roosa (David) and Bud Losh (Loretta); her close friends, Angie Buchannan, Jackie and Andret Dinon; her daughter Max Smith; and also, Debbie Gowan, Kerry Gowan and David Franks. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Memorial donations are recommended to the Giles County Humane Association, P.O. Box 237, Pulaski, TN 38478 Visitation will be held at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 p.m.
