He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Malon and Mauvine Jewell Cockrell McConnell. He is survived by: his wife Linda Bowman McConnell; his children, Danny McConnell (Stephanie) of Milton, Keith McConnell (Cathy) of Murfreesboro, Renee Russell of Milton, Vicki Lester of Nashville, TN and Thomas Lester of Murfreesboro; his grandchildren, Rachel Robins, Seth McConnell, Kelly McConnell, Mason McConnell, Ryan McConnell, Alexandria Wood and Jeffrey Russell; and his brother Don McConnell (Marion) of Hendersonville, TN. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
