He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Joseph and Celeste Geraldine Walden Simpkins. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Simpkins; his children, Anna Marie Apel (Chris) of Heber Springs, AR and Joseph Wayne Simpkins of Canton, TX; his grandchildren, Daelyn Lamb and Janson Thomas Simpkins; his great grandchildren, Ellie Lamb and Nolan Lamb; and his siblings, Douglas Alan Simpkins, Debra Denise Simpkins-Bauer, William Malcolm Simpkins (P. J.) and Celeste Darlene Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
