She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Dobbs and Sadie Pearl Baugh Dobbs; her husband Elton Herbert Staten; her son David Randell Staten; and her siblings, Elbert Dobbs, John Wayne Dobbs, Julius Albert Dobbs and Edna Wasden.
She is survived by: her grandsons, David C. Staten (Mauri), Bryan Staten and Matt Staten (Dolly); her sisters, Hattie Mae Gould and Lola Faye Dobbs; and her daughter-in-law Debra Staten. She is also survived by ten nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
