He was predeceased by : his parents, Trenton Poole and Elvi Cobb Poole; and his brothers, Jimmy Poole, Tommy Poole and Donald Poole.

He is survived by : his wife Judith Merryman Poole; his siblings, Charles Poole (Wendi), Steve Poole (Diana), Robert Poole (Jina) and Eunice "Elaine" Deal; his stepchildren, Casey Merryman Williams and David Merryman; and his stepgrandchildren, Lily Merryman, Lucy Herring and Gus Herring.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the VFW (4681 Cuba Millington Rd, Millington, TN 38053).
