He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Sue Burton Ervin; his parents, Joe Ervin and Ruby Marbry Ervin; his brother Truman Ervin; and his grandson Ethan Owen.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Owen (Chuck) of Atoka, TN, Lisa Bond of Stanton, TN and Jason Ervin (Debra) of Millington, TN; and his siblings, Christine Shelby of Millington, Pat Ervin and Billy Ervin of Millington, TN. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
