She was predeceased by: her husband Henry; her son Sidney (Henry); her brother Wilkie; her nephew Jeffrey; and her parents, John Thomas and Clara Mae Cox.

She is survived by: her sister Juanita Smith of Millington, TN; and her daughters, Leigh-Ann Costner of Smyrna, TN, Cindy Joyner of Smyrna, TN and Jill Costner of Acworth, GA..

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home (6755 US-51, Millington, TN 38053). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
