She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hulon Bruce and Irva J Bruce of Sherman, MS.. She is survived by: her husband Paul Kirksey; her sons, Bruce Kirksey (Marsha) of Pinson, TN and Kelly Kirksey of Germantown, TN; and her grandchildren, Haley Graham (Joshua), Corey Kirksey and Jewell Kirksey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Big Creek Baptist Church, 6797 Big Creek Church Rd, Millington, TN 38053.
