She is survived by: her husband Larry Weatherington; her children, Deborah Forsman (Brian) of Tennessee, Wade Weatherington (Mary) of Ohio and Lisa Kisseberth (Craig) of Minnesota; her sister Norma Tanner (Hurford) of Illinois; and her friend Dan Elkins of Atlanta.

“Ruth Ann and Larry will always have a special place in our hearts. I remember fondly Ruth Ann’s & Virginia’s Southern Cooking when they came to Colorado Springs to visit with John and Gerry King. For several weeks (some years ago) while my wife was being treated for stage 4 Kidney failure in California…I would join The Kings along with Gerry’s sister Virginia, The Weatherington’s for some memorable times of Christian fellowship and excellent Southern Style cooking.
