He was predeceased by: his wife Martha McCarty; his parents, Merrill McCarty and Marella Temple McCarty; his sons, Donald McCarty, Kenneth Alexander and Stephen Alexander; and his grandchildren, Adam McCarty, Joseph Patrick and Wendy Owens.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Patrick (Mike), Nancy Farr (Barry), Gail McCarty (Barry), Jason McCarty (Linda) and Robin Alexander (Maschele). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
