She was predeceased by: her husband Hoyt Wayne Mooney; and her son Stephen Mooney. She is survived by: her daughter Ann Parham (Carey); her daughter-in-law Janis Mooney; her grandchildren, Cari Anne Nesbit (Joey), Carla Parham, Meghan McCrary (John Conrad), Jason Mooney (Niki), Lee Mooney (Bobbie) and Dawn Rose (John); her great grandchildren, John Nesbit (Sara), Colby Nesbit, Brewer Mooney, Ella Mooney, Matthew Rose, Ann Elizabeth McCrary and Mac McCrary; and her great great grandchild Emmet Nesbit.
One of her proudest moments was receiving the Living Award in 2000 from the Methodist LeBonheur Foundation.
