He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Wilburn Poyner and Frances Lavelle Walker Poyner; his children, Brandon McBride (Gracie), Brett McBride, Jacob Poyner (Savannah) and Brittani McBride; the mother of his children Deborah June McBride Poyner; his nieces, Delaney and Mattie; his grandparents, Bernice Walker, Hassell and Mary Poyner; his uncle Billy Cole Poyner; his aunt Lou Ellen Dowdle; and also, Ella, Lillie, Leighton and Jennifer. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
