We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2024, Everett Sims of Millington, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Everett's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Everett's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.

He was predeceased by : his wife Joan Sims; and his parents, Newton Sims and Ruth Dale. He is survived by : his children, Teresa Wells (Ron) of Millington, TN, Barbara Sanders of Plano, TX, Becky Seivwright of Arlington, TN and Charles "Ed" Massey (Michelle) of Plano, TX; his sister Pam Ranney of St. Joseph, MO; and his nephew Adam McKinney. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Millington Chapel (7450 Raleigh Millington Rd, Millington, TN 38053). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Millington (fbcmillington.org/giving) or to the "Recreation/Activity Dept." at the Tennessee State Veterans' Homes - Humboldt.
