She was predeceased by: her husband William M. Petty, Jr.; her parents, Artie Martin and Mildred Martin; and her brother Eddie Martin. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Brock and William M. Petty, III (Peggy); her sister Sylvia Gatlin (Louis); and her grandchildren, Carissa Crawford (Joshua), Johnathan Casby (Becca), Paul Petty (Dawn) and Angela Wicker. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
