He is survived by: his wife Lou Carter; his children, Phillip Carter (Shirley), Bryan Carter (Jamie), Francine Nelson Woodley, Rhonda Edwards (Walter) and Monique Hunt (Greg); and his sisters, Ruby Feazell of Milan and Mattie Sue Carter of Milan. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
