He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Mitchell and Ida Bell Mitchell (Eubanks); and his brother LeRoy Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Alma Joyce Mitchell (Foust); his sons, Noel Mitchell (Missy), Chris Mitchell (Julie) and Gaylon Mitchell; his grandchildren, Danny Mitchell, Sarah Mitchell, Amanda Wilson (T. K.) and Dane Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Jacob Damron, Hazel Mitchell and Haislee Mitchell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
