He was predeceased by: his parents, George C. Mayo and Erma Cupples Mayo; and his son Steve Mayo. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Mayo of Milan; his sons, Jimmy Mayo (Carole) of Milan and Bob Mayo of Milan; his daughter-in-law Rene Mayo of Milan; his grandchildren, Staci Thum (Jake) of Greenfield, Chad Mayo (Heather) of Milan, Shannon Casados (Sam) of Colorado, Julie Mayo Curtis (Matt) of Nashville and Jake Mayo of Milan; and his great grandchildren, Hannah Meade, Samuel Thum, Sadie Thum, Charles Curtis and Scarlet Curtis. He is also survived by four great-great grandchildren.
Due to the current pandemic, the family will be having a private service at Bodkin Funeral Home.
