With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tommy Joe Sheppard of Milan, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lulu Lilli Sheppard and Geary M. Sheppard; and his former wife Irma Sue Sheppard. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jackie Sheppard; his sons, Tommy Joe Sheppard II (Pam) and Todd Alan Sheppard (Kellye Cash); his stepchildren, Steve Maroney (Holly) and Rita Morgan (Joel); his brother Ron Sheppard; his grandchildren, Lauren Corson (Eric), Laurel Donovan (Garrett), Brady Sheppard (Lauren), Cassidy Spencer (Tanner), Tatum Filegar (Josiah), Meredith Maroney Franz (Ryan), Molly Maroney, Madison Maroney, Caleb Morgan (Gabby), Eli Morgan, Anna Morgan and Ben Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Blythe Corson, Hadlee Corson, Emmett Donovan, Everett Donovan, Sutton Sheppard, Molly Sheppard, Millie Morgan and Lillian Spencer.
