He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Edgar Chester; his wife Peggy Burrow Chester; and his siblings, Walter Chester and Rose Chester McIlwain Smith. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Chester Ball of Milan, TN and Leah Chester Powell (Steve) of Memphis, TN; his sister Christine Chester Hardaway of Trenton, TN; and his grandchildren, Tressa Flowers Floyd, Steven Powell, Marie Ball Jones and Emily Ball Humphreys.
