He is survived by: his wife Helen; his daughters, Valerie and Phyllis; his grandchildren, Bret Hedges (Katie) and Michael Stephens; his great grandchildren, Alexandria Hedges and Jacob Hedges; and his siblings, Joyce Arrington Hicks and James Edward Arrington.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Milan Cumberland Presbyterian Church would make Ray's heart smile.
