He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennett Holmes and Lucy Holmes; and his brother David. He is survived by: his children, Shane Holmes, Stacey Holmes and Tracey Holmes Prowse; and his brother Hal Holmes. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
