She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Smith and Kathleen Garrett Hamilton; her husbands, Billy Gardner and Bernard Downey; and her siblings, Rene Hamilton and Vivian Estes.
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Gardner Richardson of Nashville and Mike Gardner of Milan; her sisters, Betty Strayhorn (James) of Medina and Marth Stoltz of Medina; her grandchildren, Shannon Shaffer and David Richardson; and her great grandchildren, Raegan Richardson, Connor Richardson and Isabella Richardson.
