With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maggie Brasfield of Milan, Tennessee, born in Obion, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Maggie left this world on August 13, 2024 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Louis and Martha Lou "Totsie" Coleman Carpenter; her husband Ira Slyvester Brasfield; and her sisters, Marget Felix and Frankie France.
She is survived by: her brothers, Henry Carpenter (Brenda) of Springville, TN and Tommy Carpenter (Mary Ann) of Reeves, TN; and her children, Glenda Tharp (Lynn) of Thomasville, GA, Dwayne Brasfield (Melissa) of Humboldt and Steven Brasfield (Lynn) of Milan. She is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
