With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louise Tate of Milan, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Louise Tate to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Elliott and Ruthie Reeves Elliott; her husband Vester Tate; her son Robert Tate; and her brothers, Odell Elliott, Fred Elliott and Alton Elliott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda G. Tate Palmer (Dennis) of Millington and Deborah L. Tate Boyd (Don) of Sugar Tree; her brother Thomas Elliott of Piperton, TN; and her daughter-in-law Linda Tate. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bodkin Funeral Home (2000 S 1st St, Milan, TN 38358). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at the Gibson County Memory Gardens (85 Milan Hwy, Humboldt, TN 38343).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Northside Baptist Church in Milan.
