It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John B. Routon of Milan, Tennessee, born in Paris, Tennessee, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Routon and Nona Bucy Routon; and his brother Roger Routon. He is survived by: his wife Alice Lavesta "Vestie" Martin Routon; his children, Mary Alice Routon of Milan, TN and David Routon of Milan, TN; his grandchildren, Madelynn Hays of Milan, TN and Dr. Jonathan Routon (Josephine) of Nashville, TN; and his nieces, Carolyn Goodman (Carey) of Routon, TN, Angie Cooper of Paris, TN and Marilyn Routon Baker of Paris, TN..
