James Stanek Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Stanek (Milan, Tennessee), who passed away on May 23, 2018 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Evelyn Claussen Stanek; his sons, Robert Stanek, Joe Shaffer and Bill Weems; and his siblings, Ray, Frank and Virginia Bichusa.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Hill Stanek; his children, James Stanek, Jr. (Kay) and Cynthia Johnson; and his stepchildren, John Weems (May), JoAnn Weems and Jeanne Martin (Bubba). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Milan, TN or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
