He was predeceased by: his parents, R. C. Thompson and Roberta Thompson; and his siblings, Louise Thompson, Martha Nell Milligan and Jesse Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Price; his daughters, Julia Davis Murphy (Scotty) and Peni Davis Smith (Brian); his grandsons, Carson Lee, Jed Robinson, Bryce, Ethan Smith, Tyler and Logan Murphy; and his siblings, Judy Graves, Brenda Dixon, Ann Neil and Ron Thompson.
