Patterson of Milan, Tennessee, born in Williston, North Dakota, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Evanson (Don) and Frances Evanson (Fisk); her daughter Meegan Thompson (Robb); her brother Gene Evanson (Eunice); and her former husband Jack McSweeney (Janice).
She is survived by: her children, Jodi Nelson (Bill), John McSweeney (Michelle), Lisa Cowan and Kristy Jones (Wayne); and her grandchildren, Lindsey Lierman (James), Katie Walsh (Sterling), Rachael Thompson (Ryan Weber), Brad Thompson (Shannan), Gunner McSweeney (Daphne Barton), Mason McSweeney, Jerica Smith, CJ Cowan and Rebecca Jones. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family would prefer memorials be given to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Gayle's name.
