He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Rushing and Nettie Laster Rushing; his wife Martha Rushing; and his siblings, Pete Rushing, J. D. Rushing, Joe Rushing, Idelle Clenney, Shirley Murphy and Polly Powers.
He is survived by: his son Mike Rushing (Melody) of Milan; his siblings, Clyde Rushing, Jr. (Rose) of Milan and Willadean Rushing of Milan; his grandchildren, James Rushing (Miranda) of Henderson and Rhea Scott of Milan; and his great grandchild Ronan Rushing of Henderson.
Memorials may be directed to the Arthritis Foundation or to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
