She was predeceased by: her father James Gardner; her husband Avery Carroll; her sons, Gary Carroll and Steve Carroll; her grandchildren, Kimberly Gurley, Kevin Gurley and David Carroll; and her siblings, Evelyn Hardy Carroll, Ralph Hardy and Lloyd Hardy.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Carroll of Jackson, Betty Corley (Mark) of Texarkana, Barbara Batteese of McKenzie and Judy Latta Lisa (JR); and her siblings, Billy Hardy of Norfolk, John Hardy of Cedar Grove, Dwight Hardy of Eva and Mary Ann Melton of Austin, Texas.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
