She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Wade and Lola Wright; her husband Charles Edward Lancaster; her stepfather Wilvin Albea; her siblings, C. W., Curtis Wade and Bertha Jennings; her brother-in-law Charles Clark; her granddaughter Eriona Rose; and her nephews, Wallace, Isaiah and Larry Wade.
She is survived by: her children, Velicia Richardson (Charles), Charles Lancaster (Carla), Carl Anthony Lancaster and Melissa Graves (Billy); her sister Rosie Faye Clark; and her daughter Chanel Rose. She is also survived by five grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, five step brothers, five step sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
