She was predeceased by: her husband Dewey Houston; her parents, Ernest Hurt and Myrtle Hopper Hurt; her daughters, Donna Houston Stuckey and Glenda Houston Hughes; and her nephew Jimmy Flatt.
She is survived by: her grandson Ben Norris of Milan; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Norris, Cooper Norris and Maggie Mae Norris.
