He is survived by: his mother Mildred L. Solesby; his wife Rena Solesby; his children, Alicia Bean (Kris), Krista Freeman (Ryan), Kayla Bostick (Justin), Tyler Watts (Candace) and Bradley Watts (Jada); his grandchildren, Brison Craig, Brayden Solesby, Peyton Freeman, Kyler Bean and Kerri Bean; and his siblings, Janice Pitts, Eva Gowan and Bruce Solesby.

In lieu of flowers, Ronnie requested donations be made in his honor to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Knoxville Children's Hospital.
