She was predeceased by: her mother Alberta Floyd Thigpen. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Donavon McElveen, Jr.; her father Chesley Davis Thigpen, Sr.; her stepmother Juanita Welch Thigpen; and her siblings, Kimberly T. Black (John) of Olanta, Colonel Chesley D. Thigpen, Jr. (Andrea) and Timothy D. Thigpen (Hope) of Lake City. She is also survived by three nieces; and four nephews.
