He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Smith; his children, Terry Clendenon and Brenda Clendenon; his grandchildren, Niney Clendenon and Casey Clendenon; his mother Merredith Shelton; his brother Billy; his sister-in-law Shena Smith; and his close friends, Anthony, Kristy Pruitt, Linda Foshee and Ronnie Campbell. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
