Ketella Lucille Cansler Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ketella Lucille Cansler of Midway, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 27, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Carl Gray Brannan and Grace Pearl Anderson Brannan; her husband Fred Glenn Cansler; her sister Blanche Brannan Atkins; and her siblings-in-law, Grace Willis, JoAnn Attanasio (John), Jimmie Ramsey, Chester Atkins, Leroy Cansler, Jim Cansler (Annie) and Robert "Bob" Cansler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha (Daniel Myers) and Mary Cansler Jones; her grandchildren, Jennifer Sanders (Jason), Deidre Nifong (Kyle), Tyler Jones (Kaitlin), Caleb Jones (Sydney) and Grant Jones; her great grandchildren, Emry Sanders, Kyler Nifong, Amzie Nifong, Phoebe Jones, Kinley Jones, Celia Jones and Hutson Jones; her sister Mary Brannan Ramsey; her siblings-in-law, Steve Cansler, John, Joyce Cansler, Ralph, Billie Cansler, Ronnie, Belinda Cansler and Evelyn Cansler; her caregivers, Carolyn Finchum and Christine Tipton; and her close friend Danny Gaby. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home (1125 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Doughty-Stevens Chapel (1125 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745).
