We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2024, at the age of 70, Emlyn J. Cobble of Midway, Tennessee, born in Greeneville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Cobble and Sarah Cobble; and her brother-in-law Johnny Smelcer. She is survived by: her sister Janet Smelcer; her nephews, Dr. Philip Smelcer (Christine) and Daniel Smelcer (Brittany); her great-nephews, Miles, Oliver and Peyton Johnny (PJ); her great-niece Cora; and her goddaughter Kelsey. She is also survived by friend for many years, and a host of other friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sinking Springs Cemetery, c/o Melinda Pruitt, 190 Lonesome Rd, Midway, TN 37809, honoring Emlyn's legacy of service and community.
