She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. James Willie Carter and Ellen Garrett Carter; her husband Bruce Redfearn; and her uncle John Wilbanks of Pocahontas. She is survived by: her son Adam Redfearn of Jackson; her brother Roger Carter of Medon; her brother-in-law Martin Redfearn of Jackson; and her aunt Joyce Wilbanks of Pocahontas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
