He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Everett Howell and Lillie Gertrude Sisco Howell; his siblings, Sadie Mae, Lillie Faye, Dorothy, Billy Joe, Leon, James, Virgil and Jackie Howell; and his grandson Justin Cossar.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Howell of Middleton; his children, Carolyn McKee (Wayne) of Middleton, Sarah Zeboski (John) of Bolivar, Becky White (Cavin) of Middleton, Jerry Howell (Diane) of Jackson, Dwade Howell (Debra) of Middleton and Jimmy Howell of Middleton; and his siblings, Linda Webb of Jackson, William of Middleton and Frankie Howell of Middleton. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
