He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Brown and Beulah Wilson Brown; his siblings, William Brown, Marie Yancey and Clovis Townsend; and his nieces and nephews, Chris Brown, Roger Townsend, Doris Britt and Cathy Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his sons, Richard Matlock (Camille) of Knoxville, TN, Tony Decanter (Robin) of Corinth, MS and Ronnie Decanter (Kati) of Ripley, MS; his grandchildren, Sidney Matlock, Josh, Jackie, Will Decanter, Haylee and Kayla Booze; his great grandchild Ianna Decanter; his siblings, Wayne Brown (Ann) and Frances Ray; his former wife Patricia K. Brown; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Madison, Noah and Eli. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
