He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Havens Shelly; his son Chris Shelly; his parents, J. P. Shelly and Lucille Shelly; his brother Harry Shelly; and his sister-in-law Mignon Shelly.
He is survived by: his children, Mica Shelly Harris of Middleton and Anthony Shelly of Smyrna, TN; his brother Rubel Shelly (Myra) of Nashville; his grandchildren, John Paul Shelly, Michael Shelly, Hope Carver and Will Harris; and his great grandchildren, Lola Culver, Brennan Kennedy, Corbin Shelly and Liam Harris.
Memorial donations may be made to the Middleton Church of Christ Benevolent Fund.
