He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Franklin Shearon and Mary Inez Prince Shearon; his wife Madge Marie Bass; his son Dwight Shearon; his granddaughter Lori Shearon Hughes; and his siblings, Shirley Ann Perkins, Pattie Jane Shearon, Billy Joe, John Robert and Lee Allen Shearon.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Shearon Stewart of Pocahontas, Jackie Shearon (Marion) of Middleton and Chris Shearon of Hornsby; and his sister Diane Shearon Travis (Randy) of Saulsbury. He is also survived by four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
