It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harold Burgess of Middleton, Tennessee, who passed away on September 20, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Hyman Burgess and Jessie Ruth Capshaw Burgess; his sister Elizabeth Ann Murray; and his son-in-law Jimmy Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Genetia Lamberth Burgess of Middleton; and his daughters, Carmen Stringfellow (Jackie) of Memphis, Cindy Owens (Mark) of Collierville and Carla Vaughn of Middleton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
