He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Bell and Eula Bell; and his siblings, Raymond, Harold Bell and Virginia Wheeler.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; and his sons, Gerald Bell (Alyce) of Fort Worth and Barry Bell (Sabrina) of Dallas. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
