She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carl Chambers and Mary Lou Evans Chambers; her husband Billy Ray Hughes; and her siblings, Willie Mae Thomas, Mildred Wigginton, Audrey Dowty, Alene Pettigrew, Glen Abernathy Chambers, J. R. Chambers, Warren G. Chambers and William Charles "Bear" Chambers.

She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Hughes Capooth of Guys, TN..
