He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Cowan and Ruth Bruner; and his sisters, Delores Hillis and Marjorie Cowan. He is survived by: his wife Opal Cowan (Stephens); and his sons, Roy (Carol), Arnold (Carol), Jimmy (Barbee) and Timmy Cowan (Hollie). He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
