It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole South of Michie, Tennessee, born in Decatur, Tennessee, who passed away on April 28, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Melton and Maybell Oliver Melton; her son Robert Alley; her siblings, Deborah Hill, Mary Banks, Kenny Melton and Robert Melton; her in-laws, Kirk and Ruth South; her cousin Timmy Dickerson; and her close friend Minerva Fowler.
She is survived by: her husband Joe South of Michie, TN; her daughters, Michelle Price (Danny) and Kimberly Lambert (Ryan); her grandchildren, Jennifer Price, Christy Arnold (Brant), Jessica Wheeler, John Price, Asher Price, Austin Lambert, Bentley Lambert and Jackson; her great grandchildren, Lane, Hunter, Austin, Jesse, Landon of Caden, JC, Cullen, Aliyah, Mikala, Cece, Emily, Madelyn and Dani; and her great great grandchild Waylon.
