She was predeceased by: her husband Mercer D. Cotton; her parents, Thomas A. Jones and Effie T. Jones; and her brother Thomas A. Jones, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Carol (Conrad Blickenstorfer) and Bill (Christy Cotton); her grandson W. Jarett Cotton; her great grandchild W. Jayson Cotton; her stepgrandchildren, Jeffery, Julie and Morgan; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Allie, John David, Ella, Lucas and Asher; and also, Jan (Bo) of Thomas, III and Monroe.

Due to covid-19, a private service was held.
