She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lester and Zelma Lee Counts Jacobs; her husband Guy Hinson; her son Garry Hinson; and her brothers, William Jacobs, Charles Jacobs, Ray Jacobs and Dannie Jacobs.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Hinson (Christine) of Breeze, IL, Linda Barker of Selina, TN and Joyce Ann Hinson of Fort Worth, TX; and her grandchildren, Carrie Reeves, Janice Moore Martin, Angela Hinson and Nick Hinson. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
