She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Wilson and Basey Wilson; and her siblings, Bonnie, Harvey and Carolyn.
She is survived by: her siblings, James Wilson and Laurene Owens; her daughter Annette (Edward Williams, Jr.); her grandsons, Mark Powell, Sr. (Kenyetta) and Ervin Williams (Ariell); her great grandchildren, Tianna, Makenzie and Mark, Jr.; and her great great grandchild Tyler. She is also survived by brother and sister, as well as a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and members of her church family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:55 AM at the First Baptist Broad (2835 Broad Ave, Memphis, TN 38112). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Her work ethic and dedication were unmatched, and she made lasting contributions to both her family and her community.
